{"id":5155,"date":"2025-05-28T13:05:53","date_gmt":"2025-05-28T13:05:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iseitiestaskas.lt\/?p=5155"},"modified":"2025-05-28T13:12:31","modified_gmt":"2025-05-28T13:12:31","slug":"skelbiame-2025-m-festivalio-iseities-taskas-konkursa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iseitiestaskas.lt\/en\/2025\/05\/28\/skelbiame-2025-m-festivalio-iseities-taskas-konkursa\/","title":{"rendered":"We are announcing an open call for the competition of 2025 STARTING POINT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>We invite all budding performing artists to take part in the sketch competition and present their work to a wider audience!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Ideas for performances are welcome until 29 June. <br><\/em>The most suitable ideas for the theatre's repertoire will receive funding and assistance in creating a sketch, and the winners of the competition will be helped to turn the sketch into a full performance and present it on the stage of Kaunas City Chamber Theatre.\u00a0<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the competition\u00a0<\/strong><br>In order to not only encourage young artists, but also to provide real support for the realisation of their ideas, we are traditionally launching an open call for young representatives of the performing arts to come up with ideas for productions aimed at young audiences (14-29 years old).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taking into account the experts' opinions, we will select 3-4 ideas that are most suitable for the theatre's repertoire and fund up to \u20ac600 for the creation of sketches (up to 15 minutes), which will be presented publicly at the 2025 Starting Point Festival. The winner of the sketches will be given the opportunity to create a full performance, which will be included in the repertoire of Kaunas City Chamber Theatre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Conditions:<\/strong><br>The sketch will have to be realised and shown at the festival \"<a href=\"https:\/\/iseitiestaskas.lt\/en\/\">Starting Point<\/a>September 2025 (the date of the screening will be adjusted and coordinated depending on the availability of the selected participants and the festival programme).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>The competition is open to emerging performing artists up to the age of 35 (inclusive);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The project must not have been shown publicly (sketches shown in previous competitions are eligible for this competition, as long as they have not yet been shown publicly as full productions);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The project must be aimed at a young audience (14-29 years old) and adaptable to the Kaunas City Chamber Theatre space (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kamerinisteatras.lt\/erdves\/\">https:\/\/www.kamerinisteatras.lt\/erdves\/<\/a>);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The measures are not limited, but must be justified and enforceable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Evaluation criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>The main selection criterion is the quality of the project\/idea: the work must be structured, complete, coherent and justified;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The size of the creative team is evaluated, as well as the adaptability of the format to the spaces of Kaunas City Chamber Theatre;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The cost of the demonstration is taken into account (point 7 of the project estimate);\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participants are asked to provide a preliminary estimate for the performance, which must be reasonable and justified.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Completed 2025 FESTIVAL \u201cSTARTING POINT COMPETITION\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/Fb1D4GZp6w9K5cp5A\">survey<\/a>\u00a0with attached documents (project application form, full cost estimate for the production of the performance and the applicant's CV) are welcome until 29 June 2025 (inclusive).<br><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kamerinisteatras.lt\/uploads\/Projekto%20parais%CC%8Ckos%20forma.docx\">PROJECT APPLICATION FORM<br><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kamerinisteatras.lt\/uploads\/Ku%CC%84rybinio%20projekto%20sa%CC%A8mata.xlsx\">PROJECT ESTIMATE<\/a>\u00a0(full production)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have any questions, please email. <a href=\"mailto:vadyba@kamerinisteatras.lt\">vadyba@kamerinisteatras.lt<\/a>, tel. +370 603 66284.
