“Who Are You?”—a puppet and object theater performance that explores the themes of identity, individuality, and authenticity. In it, actress and set designer Marina Jasinskaja appears not only as a performer but also as the creator of her own work—a portrait puppet.
A doll created based on an image generated by the author’s own AI, which is transformed during the performance—this is a visual and emotional process that reveals the inner struggles between who you are and who you “should be.” Through the interaction between a living body and an inert object, the performance creates an intimate space where the author confronts the reflection of her “inner self” that she has created.
The doll becomes a metaphor—for inner conflicts, the “shadow” of the subconscious, and the pursuit of perfection—and helps us discover what lies hidden on the “shelves” of the subconscious.
